Alternatif Giyim ve Alt Kültür

"Alternatif Giyim" tanımını anlayabilmek için öncelikle Alt Kültür kavramının ne olduğunu anlamak gerekir. Çünkü Alternatif Giyim, Alt Kültür Yaşam Tarzının göstergesi ve hatta imzasıdır.

Alt Kültür; Sosyolojik, Antropolojik ve Kültürel Anlamda, popüler yaşam tarzının ve kültürünün tamamen dışında, kendine özgü bir felsefe ve yaşam tarzına sahip, bulunğu toplumdan kendini ayrıştıran, azınlık kültürleridir. Alt Kültür Toplulukları, popüler kültür ve sistemle ilişkilerini kopararak, yabancılaşmayı, farklılaşmayı ve dışlanarak genel topluluktan ayrışmayı baştan kabul etmekte, bir anlamda da bu dışlanmışlıkla topluluk içinde tanınmayı başarmaktadır.

Alternatif Giyim Tarzı, çoğu Alt Kültürün önemli bir uzantısı, hatta görsel imzasıdır. Belirgin öğelere ve kalıplara sahip olan alternatif giyim tarzları, kesimlerinden renklerine, aksesuarlarından dikişlerine kadar göstergesi oldukları alt kültürün yaşam tarzını yansıtmaktadır. Bana göre, alternatif giyim tarzını benimseyenler, çoğu zaman toplum dışı olarak nitelendirilse de, kendine özgü farklı tarzların büyüsünü ve güzelliğini gören gözler için, cesur, özgür ve eşsizdirler.

UMBRAS HOODY SWEATSHIRT

Another order completed. 4 different fabric used as Plain sweat fabric, 2 different melange, and sued.

Used ribbons for crossings , metal sipper foır front and black cotton cord for hood and skirt bottom.

I guess I like design puzzles since this is also with so many pieces put togather.

PARIA BONDAGE PANTS

This was a special order for a beutiful lady. She likes alternative styles and enjoys wearing them.

I used 4 different fabric. Plain black denim+corded double color denim, leather fabric and mesh. Used metal button, buckles and chains for accesory. Pattern was with so many pieces and was fun to put them togather. Result was good and satisfactory. :)

AURORA DROPCROTCH SWEATPANTS

As a special order I designed this Dropcrotch. Used 3 different cotton fabrics. Black, Grey and Black - Grey smokey printed fabric. Pattern cutting was simple but detailed in this one. Every piece cut separetely . Only needed one correction in process. Sewing was surprisingly easy according to the fabrics I used to sew. Final design come out pretty good. I got a feed back that person I design it for wears it happily. I guesss thats the utmost satisfaction of designing.

DRAKENHOOD UNISEX HOODY

This is my first time designing hoody for a special order. After I completed the basic design, thinking and designing the print at the back was the hardest part, which I love to draw tribal designs but takes to much of time to decide. Finally I decided to work on a sword on pedestal which will be look like the spine at the back. I started drawing and rest come easiliy. After completethe drawing and trace it on hoody, hand embrodies all the edges and then handpaint with silver paint with the gradient effect. Final was satisfactory for me. Style of the hoody and print beautifully completed eachother. Designing this gave me so many good and new ideas which u will see them in future.
